Current Projects

In addition to the ongoing implementation of the Humber Management Scheme; the Humber Estuary Relevant Authorities Group and Humber Advisory Group partnerships also undertake various project works which contribute to the sustainable management of the estuary.

Previous projects have included the Codes of Conduct and Signage and the ongoing activity reporting.

Ongoing and future project work includes:
  • Incident Reporting for recreational activities
  • A study to investigate the effects of recreational disturbance the Humber Estuary SPA
  • A Humber wide public events week

The Humber

Located on the northeast coast of England the Humber Estuary is the country's largest port complex handling 14% of the UK's international trade.
